The organization and financing of the following will be the responsibility of the MOH-Algeria : evening reception to welcome participants, grand opening event; gala banquet on the last evening; all in-country transportation; protocol (security for ministers, meet and greet, etc); hospitality for Ministers and other dignitaries (hotel accommodation); block booking of hotels, contracts, guarantee; use of Conference Centre and media centre; IT and audiovisual equipment; printing translation of documentation; interpretation.
All international travel and expenses will be the responsibilities of participants. Participants from UN agencies (including WHO) and those from outside of the African Region will also be asked to cover the costs of their accommodation and catering in Algiers, outside the lunches offered from 23 to 26 June 2008.
The cost of preparations of the Regional Report, the regional surveys and other costs related to the activities of the Secretariat will be covered by WHO-AFRO.
