DESIRED OUTCOMES
The following are some proposed outcomes, for discussion and amendment:
a. Preparation of a joint declaration « one common african voice », Algiers Declaration, to be adopted by the ministerial conference for submission to the Bamako conference to be held on November 17-20 2008. This declaration would renew commitments to research for health to improve Africa’s health.
b. Coherence and co-ordination at regional and national levels between the many different stakeholders in research and innovation for health.
